Jeff Allen

Principal

Jeff Allen is an entrepreneur in the classical sense. With the natural ability to recognize trends and emerging markets, Jeff fearlessly pursues his visions.

In the 1980’s Jeff founded Muchas Grasses, a company that evolved into the largest resource of decorative grasses in the state of California. In the late 90’s he founded Olivet Groves Organic, which now supplies buyers of olive trees and olive oil throughout California. Over the past 28 years Jeff’s flagship company, Allen Land Design has been designing and installing award winning gardens that are ecologically sound and beneficial to the environment.

In 2004 Jeff went on to cofound one of the pioneering firms in the Biodiesel industry, American Biodiesel/Community Fuels, a company utilizing a proprietary production process that ensures fuel diversity and job creation.

Jeff is currently serving as a Director on Summit State Bank board, and has also served as both vice president and president on the Sonoma County Laguna Foundation.

In all his endeavors Jeff has had the vision to see opportunities, the energy to carry out necessary tasks and the insight to choose a talented team of players to execute the success of his ventures.

Jeff’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture and his coursework in Landscape Architecture at the University of California, Davis helped shape the framework for Jeff’s interests, but it has been his hands-on involvement in land stewardship, sustainable development and on-site consultation that has made him an invaluable resource.
